Green, Gold & Red – Rastafari/Pan-African Byzantine Spiked Earrings

Description

These green, gold and red (also referred to as the Rastafari or Pan-African color scheme) chain mail earrings are meticulously woven by hand in a Byzantine weave. Each individual anodized aluminum ring that makes them up is opened, woven into the weave, and closed one at a time. Each earring contains 36 rings, for a total of  72 rings per pair, and a spike, as well as a shepherd hook with rubber back.

The rings that make up these earrings are 18SWG and measure 1/4″ outer diameter, and 5/32″ inner diameter.

Each earring’s width is 1/4 of an inch, and each one’s length (including the hook and spike) is 3 1/4 inches.
